"I Would Rather Walk Across Cut Glass!"
Featuring Anderson Clayton, Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party.
“I'm saying that I would rather walk across cut glass, but that's just my personal preference, and I think we're going to do every single thing humanly possible this year to make sure that someone like that doesn't get within an arm's reach of the governor's office.” -Anderson Clayton, on the prospect of a "Governor Mark Robinson."

In our latest episode, we're joined by Anderson Clayton, Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party. She’s the youngest state party chair in the country and was just 25 when elected! We talked about her background growing up in a rural community and some of her early work organizing in rural communities, from Watauga County in western North Carolina, to Iowa on Kamala Harris’s 2020 campaign, and more.
We also talked about what she learned, her return to North Carolina, and her efforts to put those lessons to use across our state. And of course that includes the 2024 elections, Democrat’s efforts fighting for better healthcare, jobs, and education, and what we can all be doing to help in this fight.
